Summer internship

I am happy to announce that I started my summer internship with YWCA Yorkshire last week, and what better way to start than by getting involved in the 20th Anniversary celebrations of Fleming Gardens.

An amazing and thoughtful event bringing together so many of the community including Chief Executive, Tracy Gollins and The Mayor of Rotherham, Councillor Sheila Cowen. It was a great way to hit the ground running, network with the staff and most importantly see the difference YWCA Yorkshire is making in its communities. Followed by a day of brainstorming and goal-setting at which we also got involved in a lovely barbecue at Peile House. Such a great start!

I am excited to see what will come of my time as Charity Fundraising and Partnerships Intern alongside Marina Farhan with the support of Rowan Hall. Many plans in the pipeline 😁
